Adding a category to your menu

You need at least one category before you can add products. Categories are the main sections of your menu: Starters, Mains, Drinks and so on.
Open Categories (Kategoriler) from the left menu. In the New Category form, fill in the Turkish Name field; the English Name field is optional and is used when your menu is opened in English.
You can add an image to the category. If you upload a GIF or a short video, the category button becomes animated in your menu. Videos are compressed automatically (720p, first 10 seconds) so your menu speed is unaffected.
If you'd rather not upload anything, pick one of the ready-made animated images: Breakfast, Soup, Starters, Main Course, Grill, Burger, Pizza, Pasta, Salad, Dessert, Coffee and Drinks are available.
Click Add (Ekle). The category appears in the list with its product count next to it.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do empty categories show up in the menu?
No. Categories with no products are hidden from the customer-facing menu and appear automatically once you add a product.
